On July 30, 2020, the Competition Bureau launched a market study of Canada's health care sector. The objective of the study is to examine how to support digital health care in Canada through pro‑competitive policies. Pro‑competitive policies can bring about greater innovation, choice and access to digital health care across the country.

To help inform the study, the Bureau invited interested parties to share their views through a public consultation (July 30 — October 11, 2020), an online survey (December 2020) as well as by providing submissions related to the topics and research questions included in the Bureau’s market study notice (April 8 — July 2, 2021).

For questions or comments pertaining to the Bureau's health care market study, please contact the market study team.
